In this wedding photographed in Gardone Riviera on Lake Garda, the day unfolded between the elegance of Villa Montefiori and the monumental gardens of Il Vittoriale degli Italiani.

Preparations, ceremony, and reception all took place at Villa Montefiori, a villa directly overlooking the lake and surrounded by terraces and panoramic gardens. After the ceremony and aperitivo, we waited for the light to begin to change before moving to one of the most evocative places in the area: Il Vittoriale degli Italiani.

Among the historic gardens and terraces overlooking the water, we created the couple portraits in the final light of the afternoon.

The sun was slowly going down behind the mountains.

The lake was beginning to reflect warmer tones.

It is a brief moment.

Quiet.

And it is often there that the strongest images of the day are born.
